1. Who we are

Pacifica Engineering Services, LLC (“Pacifica,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is an engineering firm located at 301 S Church St, Rocky Mount, North Carolina 27804. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit pacificaengnc.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. 2. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit the project inquiry form, we receive the information you enter. This includes your name and email address and, if you choose to provide them, your company or agency, phone number, project location, project stage, the services you are interested in and the project details you describe. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when any visitor loads a page, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages requested and the date and time of the request. We use this information only for security, troubleshooting and keeping the Site available.

We do not use analytics tools, advertising tags or social media tracking on the Site.

3. How we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes.

• Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about your project.
• Evaluate whether a project fits our services and prepare a proposal.
• Provide services under a written agreement, if we enter into one.
• Maintain business records, including records of our correspondence.
• Protect the Site and our business against fraud, spam and misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and professional requirements.

We do not use the information you send us to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only in these situations:

• Service providers. Companies that host the Site, process form submissions and deliver email on our behalf, including Netlify, Inc. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Project partners. Subconsultants, contractors, design professionals or agencies, when you ask us to involve them or when sharing is needed to perform services you have engaged us to provide.
• Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Pacifica, our clients or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not set cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical measures to deliver pages securely and protect the Site from abuse.

Because the Site does not track visitors across other websites, there is no tracking for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to turn off. Every visit is treated the same way.

6. Links to other websites

The Site links to services we do not control, such as Google Maps for directions. Information you provide to those services is governed by their own privacy policies.

7. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, to evaluate and carry out any resulting engagement, and to meet our record keeping, legal and professional obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. The Site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please do not send confidential, export controlled, security sensitive or personal health information through the Site. If your project requires it, we will arrange a more appropriate way to exchange it.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, subject to information we must keep for legal or professional reasons. You may also ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, email projects@pacificaengnc.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional privacy rights. We will honor those rights where they apply, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and change the effective date shown above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
