Accessibility statement

1. Our standard

Pacifica Engineering Services, LLC wants everyone to be able to use pacificaengnc.com, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

2. What we have done

• Pages use a clear structure of headings and landmarks, with a link to skip directly to the main content.
• Every link, button and form control can be reached and used with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is clearly visible.
• Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG contrast requirements.
• Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and helpful hints are connected to the fields they describe.
• Informative graphics, such as the region map and the river section, include text descriptions. Purely decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
• Animation is turned off when your device is set to reduce motion.
• Layouts adapt to small screens and remain usable when text is enlarged.

3. Known limitations

The site plan drawing on the home page is decorative and is hidden from screen readers. The information it illustrates is available as text in the discipline cards beneath it and on the Services page.
